Scroll is a Layer-2 scaling solution for [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true) that uses zk-rollups to offer faster and cheaper transactions while maintaining [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true)’s security. It’s fully compatible with the [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true) Virtual Machine (EVM), allowing developers to use existing [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true) tools and smart contracts without modification.
