# Is my chat a supergroup?

For [Token Tracking & Leaderboards](https://talk.markets/t/active-token-tracking-for-communities/1326) to work, your chat needs to be a **supergroup.** This includes any feature that relies on token tracking, like [groupmode](https://talk.markets/t/what-is-groupmode/3444) and [ATH leaderboards](https://talk.markets/t/new-ath-leaderboards/3111).

### **How do I know if my group is a supergroup?**

You can run `/chatid` in your group, and Rick should respond swiftly. If the chat ID starts with `-100`, you are good.

### **How to upgrade to a supergroup?**

The fastest way to do this is to **make the group public and private again**. Now your group has a new chat ID starting with `-100`, which you can verify with `/chatid`.
