EthereumPoW (ETHW) is a **Layer-1 blockchain fork of [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true)** that kept **proof-of-work (PoW)** after [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true) moved to proof-of-stake. It runs the **EVM** , so it’s compatible with [Ethereum](https://talk.markets/t/ethereum-erc-20-cheatsheet/270?silent=true) tools and smart contracts, but it’s a separate network with its own ecosystem and token (ETHW).
